Thief makes off with safe in Forsyth County

February 15, 2013
FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. — A thief took a safe from a man's closet, according to a Forsyth County Sheriff's incident report.

At 4:30 p.m. Feb. 7, a man in the 5500 block of Kennemore Drive told deputies he came home from work and went to his bedroom to change his clothes. While in his closet, the victim noticed his safe was missing.

The safe contained jewelry, money and documents valued at $600. The garage door had technical problems, the homeowner noted.
