Cumming, Ga. woman wanted no part of bogus prize

February 15, 2013
CUMMING, Ga. — A man came to a woman's apartment and told her she won a Walmart gift card, according to a Cumming Police incident report.

At 3:30 p.m. Feb. 6, a woman in the 200 block of Oakland Street told officers a man she didn't know knocked on her door. When she answered, a man dressed in a gray suit told her she was the winner of a Walmart gift card. The man further explained that she was correct person because he knew her address and date of birth.

At that point, the woman became suspicious and told the man she had not won anything and asked him to leave. The victim said the man became angry and called her names. He then left the apartment complex in a gray sedan.
