CUMMING, Ga. — A thief was unsuccessful in removing a stereo from a car, but had no trouble taking a tool bag, according to a Forsyth County Sheriff's incident report.
At noon Jan. 31, a man returned to his car parked at Academy Sports, 410 Peachtree Parkway, and found the front door of his 2005 Ford F250 had been tampered with and unlocked.
The victim said the thief took a bag of tools from the truck and also tried to pry out the car's stereo.
The tool bag and its contents were valued at $2,500.
