CUMMING, Ga. — Thieves emptied out tokens from a machine at a car wash, according to a Forsyth County Sheriff's incident report.
Between 6 p.m. Feb. 1 and 8:30 a.m. Feb. 2, someone broke into Wave Carwash, 5860 Bethelview Road, and took all the tokens vending machine. The perpetrators tampered with a product vending machine, but it's unclear if items were stolen.
The business' back door was also damaged.
In a separate incident report, a man told deputies while he was out walking on Piney Grove Drive, he found the car wash's tokens on the side of the street about 8 a.m. Feb. 2.
Deputies returned some of the tokens to the car wash and some of the tokens will be dusted for fingerprints.
