ROSWELL, Ga. A man darted across busy traffic on Holcomb Bridge Road Jan. 27 after allegedly stealing a cellphone.
A police officer on routine patrol was nearing the intersection of Dogwood Road and Holcomb Bridge when he saw a man dart across traffic away from the Krystal restaurant. Several vehicles had to stop quickly to avoid hitting the man. The officer followed, however he lost the suspect near the parking lot of the Red Lobster.
According to the victim, he had put his iPhone 5 up for sale on Craigslist. The suspect agreed to buy it and they arranged to meet at the Krystal. Instead of buying the phone, the suspect grabbed it and ran off.
