$15K engagement ring taken while moving

February 04, 2013
CUMMING, Ga. — A thief took a woman's diamond engagement ring, according to a Forsyth County Sheriff's incident report.

At 10 a.m. Jan. 23, a woman in the 7300 block of Brassfield Drive told deputies she put her engagement ring in a jewelry box by her nightstand while a moving company helped her move.

When the movers left at 2 p.m., she went to get her ring out of the box but it was not there anymore.

The ring is valued at $15,000.
