Vandals ransack home, take gaming console

January 22, 2013
CUMMING, Ga. — Vandals ransacked a home and stole a $200 Nintendo DS game system, according to a Forsyth County Sheriff's incident report.

A family in the 6600 block of Overton Circle told deputies they came home Jan. 6 from church and found their back door was open. The family's belongings had been scattered throughout the house.

The vandals unplugged the living room television and removed all the attached cables. They also moved a sofa to the front door and left several packages of frozen meat on it.

One neighbor told deputies he saw a white passenger car back into the driveway. Another said she saw a man in a plaid shirt and blue jeans walk away from the driveway.
