Briefcase filled with cash stolen

January 22, 2013
FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. — A thief took a briefcase containing $2,000 in cash and four checkbooks from a man's car while he went inside a store, according to a Forsyth County Sheriff's incident report.

A man told deputies Jan. 8 he went to the UPS store, 3651 Peachtree Parkway in Suwanee, for about five minutes. When he returned to his 2011 GMC Yukon, his passenger side window was smashed.

The man's briefcase contained $2,000 in cash and four checkbooks.

The deputies searched the parking lot for suspects and to see if other cars were entered.
