Woman hides in storage during burglary try in Cumming
January 22, 2013
CUMMING, Ga. — A woman ran and hid in a storage closet while two men attempted to enter a drug store, according to a Forsyth County Sheriff's incident report.
An employee of Walgreens, 2595 Peachtree Parkway, told deputies Jan. 13 she was unlocking the front door around 7:30 a.m. when two men wearing dark colored hoodies began running toward her. She ducked inside and locked the door. The men then tried to enter the store and smashed the store's glass door.
The woman fled to a storage room and called 911. The victim said she ran in there because it requires a passcode to get in.
The suspects ran away after smashing the store's door.
What is going on in Forsyth County? Use to be safe... seems like the criminals got wind that there is a new Sheriff.. Paxton had a don't mess with Forsyth reputation. This new Sheriff better get on the ball or Forsyth will end up being like any other metro ATL town. Think Norcross, Tucker, It's coming your way if you don't take a stand. Property owners PAY ATTENTION!!! S Sells

I think that someone needs to step up somewhere. I agree with the man above. ^^^^ just noticed someone tried to break in my door. My dog probably scared them off cause they didn't actually enter. But my door is jacked. This is scary. Constance Mace
