January 15, 2013 CUMMING, Ga. — A thief broke into a storage shed of a church, according to a Forsyth County Sheriff's incident report.
At 2 p.m. Jan. 4, the pastor of Freedom Tabernacle Church, 2160 Freedom Parkway, told deputies he noticed the week before the popcorn machine was missing. The pastor did not report the incident because he believed a church member had borrowed the machine.
The pastor went to follow up on the machine's whereabouts and also noticed four blowers for the church's large, inflatable slide were missing from the church's storage shed.
The storage shed front door had marks from a prying tool, the deputy said. The popcorn machine and blowers were valued at $1,300.
