CUMMING, Ga. — At 9:15 p.m. on Dec. 30, a woman returned to her car parked at Movies 400, 415 Atlanta Road, and found her purse and its contents were missing.
A thief took the woman's purse from her 2001 Ford Expedition while she watched a movie, according to a Cumming Police incident report.
The purse contained her checkbook, identification cards, $80 cash, $75 in gift cards and credit cards.
The thief also damaged the driver's side lock on the door. The damage is estimated at $1,000.
Leave your purse in plain sight in your car and not expect someone to break in?!? Good luck getting the insurance company to pay for the damage. Gina Wilson
