Gifts stolen from car while owner shopped at Northpoint Parkway store

January 02, 2013
ALPHARETTA, Ga. — A thief took a gift bag from a man's car, according to an Alpharetta Police Department report.

A couple told officers at 6:20 p.m. on Dec. 21 they parked their 2007 Chevrolet Impala in front of Toys R Us, 7731 Northpoint Parkway, and went inside the store. When they arrived home at about 6:45 the woman noticed a large gift bag was missing from the car.

The woman told officers it was a gift from her co-workers and she hadn't opened it yet.

Officers found damage to the driver side door handle where the thief entered the car.
