December 26, 2012 ALPHARETTA, Ga. – A Roswell man allegedly tried to shoplift more than $2,000 worth of goods Dec. 14 from Best Buy.
Employees said Michael Thomas Linder, 34, of Bankside Drive, Roswell, walked through the electronics store about noon and selected various items, putting them into his shopping cart. He chose an Xbox game console, iPhone case, earphones, a computer and other Xbox items before trying to walk out of the store.
The total value of the goods was $2,170. Linder was arrested in the parking lot and charged with felony shoplifting.
