Forsyth County man's yard, car vandalized

December 26, 2012
CUMMING, Ga. — A man wanting to confront vandals about destroying his yard also got his car damaged, according to a Forsyth County Sheriff's incident report.

Dec. 11, a man in the 4300 block of Church Road told deputies when he was returning to his house from walking his dog he could see an older model Acura pull in his driveway, drive through his front yard and leave.

The victim got in his 1998 Jeep Cherokee and attempted to follow the car to get a tag number to file a report. He followed the car to a home in the 4000 block of Jot Em Down Road. While he was on the street in front of the home, four men approached the car with sticks. One of the men threw a stick at the Jeep causing the rear passenger-side window to break.

Deputies attempted to make contact with the men at the address the victim gave, but there were no cars in the driveway and no one answered the door.
