CUMMING, Ga. — A vandal ransacked a family's home, according to a Forsyth County Sheriff's incident report.
At 7 p.m. Dec. 8, a family in the 2300 block of Greenmont Court told deputies they left their home to visit a friend. When the family returned at 12:45 a.m., the mother found a broken jewelry box in her son's bedroom.
In the master bedroom, several drawers and cabinets were open and clothes and jewelry were spread across the floor. The family's office was also ransacked.
The family could not find anything missing in the home. Electronics and laptop computers in the living room were also untouched.
A deputy noticed a window screen cover at the back of the home was ripped off and thrown on the ground.
