Chevelle stolen in Cumming while owner ate at Waffle House

CUMMING, Ga. — Someone stole a man's Chevrolet Chevelle while he ate at Waffle House, according to a Forsyth County Sheriff's incident report.
On Dec. 6, a man staying at the Hampton Inn, 915 Ronald Reagan Boulevard, told deputies he parked the 1969 gold Chevelle at the side of the hotel and walked to the Waffle House across the street. When he returned, his car was gone.
At 10:30 p.m., deputies found the car on Ga. 400 south of Majors Road. A cellphone was left in the driver's seat and fingerprints were lifted from the window.
