FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. — A thief stole an 80-foot boom lift from a Suwanee-based business, according to a Forsyth County Sheriff's incident report.
A boom lift, also known as a cherry picker, is a hydraulically powered lift used to reach high, hard-to-reach areas above the ground.
On Dec. 5, the owner of Structural Steel Erectors, 5180 Atlanta Highway, told deputies he had last seen the lift in August. The blue Genie S80 4x4 is 8 feet wide and 30 feet high.
