December 11, 2012 MILTON, Ga. — A Cumming resident and a juvenile were arrested Dec. 2 after allegedly trying to steal various cat items, food and goods from the Windward Walmart.
Store employees said Mark David Reibman, 18, of Cumming, and a juvenile girl were seen selecting items from throughout the store and placing them into a tote bag. They allegedly then tried to leave the store without paying for the items.
When approached by employees, the pair ran. Police arrived as they fled and detained them. They were both arrested for shoplifting.
The total value of items was over $500 and included a cat scratching post, food, socks, car mats, several movies, air freshener, a talking digital bank, a stress ball, a frying pan and a replica human skull.
