Change taken from Cumming car wash

December 11, 2012
CUMMING, Ga. — A thief stole $400 in quarters from a car wash, according to a Cumming Police incident report.

On Nov. 25, an employee from The Dam Car Wash, 101 Buford Dam Road, told officers that on three different occasions a thief used a $10 bill with an attached filament to break into the car wash's change machine.

The business' surveillance photos show a man driving away in a silver and gold passenger car.

The thief stole $400 in change and caused $1,200 in damage to the change machine.
