Vandals flood trailer in Cumming

November 20, 2012
CUMMING, Ga. — A vandal broke into a mobile home and turned on all the water faucets causing major flood damage, according to a Forsyth County Sheriff's incident report.

About 2 p.m. Nov. 8, a man hired to do yard work at a mobile home in the 4500 block of Hyde Road told deputies when he arrived to cut the grass he noticed a large amount of water at the rear of the residence.

The man walked around to the front of the property and saw someone had entered the mobile home and turned on all the faucets. The carpet was soaked and the wood floors were spongy, according to deputies.

The property is bank-owned. Deputies noticed the door, even when locked, is easy to open with a flat tool or credit card.
