Car entered at West Bank Park in Cumming

CUMMING, Ga. — A thief broke a woman's car window and stole her purse while she went for a walk at the park, according to a Forsyth County Sheriff's incident report.

About 4 p.m. Nov. 8, a woman walking at West Bank Park, 3400 Buford Dam Road, told deputies she walked three laps around the track at the park. The first two laps her car appeared fine. The third lap the victim noticed the passenger side window of her 2011 Nissan Murano was smashed.

The woman told deputies she had left her purse in the car and covered it with a pair of jeans. The purse and its contents were valued at $470.
