November 20, 2012 CUMMING, Ga. — A thief stole a man's car from his garage, according to a Forsyth County Sheriff's incident report.
About 5 p.m. Nov. 5, a man in the 4600 block of Brighton Court told deputies someone broke into his home and stole his 2008 Lincoln Town Car, a gold watch, two video camcorders and a chainsaw.
The victim said a friend picked him up in the morning and when they returned, the garage door was open and the car was missing. The man said he had issues with his home security system the night before and so he did not set the alarm before he left his home.
According to the report, there was no sign of forced entry, but there was a doggy-door open that might have been large enough for a person to crawl through.
The value of the car is unknown.
The value of the camcorders, watch and chainsaw is $5,200.
