MILTON, Ga. — Two Cumming residents were arrested Nov. 3 after allegedly trying to steal nearly $1,500 worth of merchandise.
According to employees of the Walmart on Windward Parkway, they saw three subjects walk through the store together, selecting items and placing them into a shopping cart. The items included various electronics, including a printer and home theater, as well as many items of clothing. The subjects then left the store without paying.
Employees caught up with the trio and detained two of them. The third ran away.
Steven Wayne Yarbrough, 23, and Maria Elena Martinez, 20, both of Oak Grove Drive, Cumming, were arrested and charged with felony shoplifting.
