CUMMING, Ga. — A thief was on the prowl for some hunting gear, according to a Forsyth County Sheriff's incident report.
A man in the 7500 block of Harbour Walk told deputies someone entered his car between 8 p.m. Nov. 2 and 5 a.m. Nov. 3 and took his Browning X-bolt rifle and ammunition.
The thief also took a camouflage bag of clothing, flashlight, knife, watch, sunglasses and driver's license.
The victim said he had packed up his car the night before for a hunting trip. He told deputies he thought he locked his car doors, but there was no sign of forced entry.
