Thief takes rings, bracelets from Cumming home

November 06, 2012
CUMMING, Ga. — A burglar took several jewelry pieces from a home in Cumming, according to a Forsyth County Sheriff's incident report.

On Oct. 26, a woman in the 5300 block of Pilgrim Mill Road told deputies she left her home at 9 a.m. When she returned at 10 p.m., a burglar had entered the home through the kitchen window.

The thief went through the victim's jewelry box and took two tennis bracelets and three gold rings. The value of the jewelry was estimated between $1,000 and $1,500.

Investigators were able to find a fingerprint on the side of the jewelry box.
