Thieves ransack home in Cumming, steal loose change

October 24, 2012
CUMMING, Ga. — Robbers ransacked a home, but only stole loose change, according to a Forsyth County Sheriff's incident report.

At 3:30 p.m. Oct. 12, a woman in the 5400 Rolling Oaks Drive block came home after work and noticed her garage window was open and the screen removed.

She went inside her home to the master bedroom and found dresser drawers opened and her belongings all over the floor.

The victim told deputies she didn't have anything worth stealing, nor did she have any pain medicines in her home.

An unknown amount of loose pennies and nickels were all that was missing from the home. A neighbor gave deputies a description of a car he saw in the neighborhood he had never seen before as a possible suspect.
