October 01, 2012 JOHNS CREEK, Ga. — Two T.J. Maxx employees were arrested Sept. 22 after they allegedly worked together to steal dozens of items from the store.
The store's security computers flagged a purchase Aug. 10 where multiple items were scanned and then the sale was voided. A look at the security footage allegedly showed two employees bagging items from a shopping cart. Of the 49 items in the cart, 25 were paid for, but the remaining 24 items were voided and taken without paying.
Roya Jasmine Darian, 22, of Tanners Court, Johns Creek, and Maria J. Elliott, 19, of Duluth, were arrested and charged with larceny.
