Peeping Tom gets caught in Cumming

Victim knew perpetrator, according to Forsyth County SO

August 06, 2012
CUMMING, Ga. — A man was arrested after he was spotted watching a couple through their bedroom window in the 1000 block of Tribble Gap Road July 29 between 3 a.m. and 3:10 a.m., according to a Forsyth County Sheriff's incident report.

The property was searched and a deputy bloodhound handler reported to the scene.

The K-9 picked up a scent from the suspect's car parked in the street, which led to a residence on the 100 block of 14th Street in Cumming.

There, deputies learned the man they were searching for was Jorge Tovar-Banda, 35, of Cumming.

Tovar-Banda was later arrested near the victim's home and charged with being a Peeping Tom, loitering and prowling.

Deputies learned from the female victim that she and the perpetrator have three children together, and that they had lived together for 11 years.
