CUMMING, Ga. — A burglar's eyes were stronger than his back after realizing a couch he wanted was too big to take from a home in the 400 block of Access Road, according to a Forsyth County Sheriff's incident report.
On July 25, between 2 a.m. and 7 a.m., the victim called her daughter and asked her to go out to the residence after she saw a window on the front of the house broken.
Her daughter stated she also observed upon entering the home several things out of place, the back sliding glass door broken and part of a couch stuck in the doorway. She checked the basement, where things also seemed out of place and the door was unlocked.
She could not be sure if any of her mother's possessions were missing.
Deputies said it seemed someone had tried to move the couch through a sliding door, but realized it would not fit and left it there.
