April 21, 2014FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. — On behalf of Publix Super Markets' customers, district managers Monty Formby and Keith Bridge, as well as Scott Barnes, store manager, presented Sandy Beaver, executive director of The Place of Forsyth County, with the proceeds from the 2013 Food for All campaign.
During the holiday season, Publix held the Food for All campaign with customers and associates contributing by purchasing cards in $1, $3 or $5 amounts.
In 2013, Publix customers and associates donated more than $2.4 million to the effort.
The funds raised are used to support local programs designed to fight hunger and advocate for self sufficiency on a local, regional, national and international level.
