FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. — A local doctor and her 9-year-old twin sons have published a children's book, "War of the Gods."

The authors, Dr. Justine Borrego, an internal medicine physician at Northside Hospital-Forsyth, and her sons, Juan David and Marco Antonio, also illustrated the book.

The mythology-filled book follows young Justin as he gets into a chimera box, a plain cardboard box that enables someone to travel wherever and become whomever they want.

"Justin is transformed into a Greco-Roman warrior and needs to find the hero within himself, perform several difficult tasks, slay monsters and save the trapped gods from Zeus and Jupiter," Justine Borrego said.

The Borregos have been writing short stories and paragraphs together since the boys were 5 years old.

"My sons mentioned to me at an early age that they wanted to write a book," Borrego said. "This short story just continued and turned into a book."

"War of the Gods," which can be purchased for $10.99, is a 60-page tome and the first in the Chimera Box Series.

Each book will follow the journey of a child stepping into the magical chimera box.
