MILTON, Ga. — Steele Stanwick, a three-time all-American lacrosse player from the University of Virginia and current Major League Lacrosse player, will bring his Stanwick Pro-Skills Clinic for boys to Cambridge High School on Jan. 11.
Boys in first through ninth grades from the greater Alpharetta, Forsyth, Roswell, Milton and Johns Creek areas are invited to attend. The timing of the clinic provides the opportunity for players to fine tune their skills with Stanwick just prior to the start of the 2014 lacrosse season.
Two sessions will be held from 10 a.m. to noon for U9 and U11 players and from 1 to 3 p.m. for U13, U15 and high school freshmen. The fee is $75 per session and includes instruction from Stanwick and his team of professional and college coaches, including Wells Stanwick, the all-time leading scorer from lacrosse powerhouse John Hopkins University, and Jarrid Purex, a UVA all-American defenseman.
