SO Forsyth also invites Special Olympians to participate in a T-shirt art contest. The winner's design will be displayed on the front of the SO Forsyth 5K T-shirt and the winner will receive a $25 gift card.
Special Olympics Forsyth serves more than 300 athletes in the Forsyth community through local games and sends over 70 of these athletes to state and regional competitions in hockey, softball, track, tennis, table tennis, power lifting, aquatics, basketball, volleyball, gymnastics and bocce. Funds raised go to support athletes in these events, including equipment, uniforms, lodging and competition entry fees.
