October 09, 2013
ALPHARETTA, Ga. –The Alpharetta Historical Society's Thursday, Oct. 17, meeting will have a special touch when a panel of members will sit around and discuss Alpharetta in the "old days."

The panel members are Norman Broadwell, Chestene Manning Carter, Nan Harman-Dempsey, Hazel Wallace Reese, Marjean Wood Birt, Gwen Dinsmore, Jim Spruell, and Connie Mashburn. That adds up to a lot of living in Alpharetta.

Lynn Sickler will moderate and ask questions of the panelists to learn more about what life used to be like in Alpharetta. They will also share some favorite stories and there will be opportunity for questions to be taken from the audience. This promises to be a very enjoyable and enlightening evening.

The Mansell House & Gardens is at 1835 Old Milton Parkway, Alpharetta. It is a special events facility that can be rented as a special place for families to celebrate the important Alpharetta Historical Society.
