Roswell adds special collection day for storm debris

Saturday collections begin June 15

June 18, 2013
ROSWELL, Ga. – The storm that moved through the Atlanta metro area last week resulted in downed trees, road closures and a significant amount of debris throughout the city of Roswell.

Regularly scheduled yard debris pick-ups will continue Monday through Friday for all residents. Starting June 15, crews began special Saturday collections for areas west of Ga. 400, which were among the hardest hit in the city.

The process of collecting all storm debris – through both the regular collections and the special Saturday collections – is expected to take several weeks. Residents' patience during this process is greatly appreciated. Crews may need to make more than one trip to pick up the debris in neighborhoods. The city will continue to provide updates as they become available.

Any additional questions from residents may be sent to PWcustomerserviceteam@roswellgov.com.
