June 04, 2013NORTH FULTON, Ga. – The Milton Boy Scout District (cities of Roswell, Alpharetta, Johns Creek, Milton) announced April 25 its newest Eagle Scouts, who passed their Board of Review. These are Scouts who passed their Eagle Board of Review:
Connor Cain, of Troop 27, was sponsored by the Johns Creek Christian Church. His project was the design and construction of an arbor for the trailhead to the Forrest Trail, moving an existing information sign and replacing the original trail sign with a newly constructed trail sign for Autrey Mill Nature Preserve and Heritage Center.
Ted Henderson, of Troop 430, was sponsored by St. David's Episcopal Church. His project was the construction of a 4-foot diameter stone fire ring with a foundation and capped stones for St. David's Episcopal Church. He also developed a stone-lined trail that leads to the fire ring.
Zachary Carman, of Troop 3143, was sponsored by Johns Creek United Methodist Church. His project was collection and delivery of food and personal items to stock the Drake House, a safe haven for mothers and children in domestic abuse settings. He collected over 1,000 items and $75 in grocery gift cards for the Drake House.
Alex Everett, of Troop 10, was sponsored by St. Benedict's Catholic Church. His project was the collection and assembly of 48 care packages for families of pediatric transplant patients at Children's Health Center of Atlanta.
Parker Hemsley, of Team 734, was sponsored by Webb Bridge Ward of Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints. His project was the design and construction of six portable wooden benches for Autrey Mill Nature Preserve and Heritage Center.
Sachin Kanetkar, of Troop 27, was sponsored by the Johns Creek Christian Church. His project was the design and construction of four large picnic tables for Ocee Park.
