May 20, 2013MILTON, Ga. – The Crabapple Fest, Milton's long-running and popular art and antiques festival, is now accepting vendor applications for this year's Oct. 5 event.
Organizers are looking for 19th century American Country furniture, primitive antiques, shabby chic items and unique pieces of art in all mediums – oils, photography, jewelry, textiles, pottery and quilts.
Expanded for 2013, the street festival now features kids' and entertainment activities and a new, central downtown location on Crabapple and Broadwell roads thanks to a partnership between Crabapple Community Association (CCA) and the city of Milton.
Crabapple Fest will be held Saturday, Oct. 5 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. More than 100 antiques vendors, local juried artists and merchants from six states will be on hand, in addition to loads of children's rides, games, a full day of entertainment and great local food.
Last year's event drew more than 10,000 attendees, and with the new partnership, organizers are expecting many, many more.
Those interested in taking part in this time-honored tradition should contact the Crabapple Community Association (CCA) by visiting www.crabapplecommunityassociation.org, emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or contacting Amanda Quintana at 770-241-1125.
Vendor fees are tax deductible as the Crabapple Community Association is a chartered, nonprofit organization. Proceeds benefit local community programs, scholarships and nonprofit charities.
