May 14, 2013
ROSWELL, Ga. – In case you missed it, the Apple Pop Up Museum is back for two encore days in May and June.

The 6,000-square-foot exhibit displays an exclusive collection of game-changing Apple personal computers and consumer electronics products while presenting the history of the company since its founding in 1976 to the present.

Organizer Lonnie Mimms said most of the computers are from his own personal collection and include items most people are not aware Apple made during its long history.

"We have an Apple Pippin, a gaming machine from 1996," Mimms said. "People aren't even aware Apple made a gaming machine."

And that's the point of the museum, he said, to show people the interesting and varied products of Apple.

Mimms said if the museum is successful, he may take it on the road.

The Apple Pop Up Museum is May 18 and June 8 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the old Comp USA building in the King's Market shopping center, 1425 Market Boulevard, Suite 200, Roswell. For more, visit www.applepopupmuseum.com.
