CUMMING, Ga. — Hundreds of Forsythians crowded the Cumming Fairgrounds March 30 for the annual Taste of Forsyth, with more than 20 local restaurants, three egg hunts and a fun-filled Kids Zone.

Tempting cuisines from Castleberry Ale House, Tam's Backstage, Taste Jamaica, and Williamsons Brothers BBQ just to name a few of the participants.

Scott Thompson filled the Fairground pavilion with live acoustic music while families sampled foods priced from $1 to $4.

Parking and admission were free along with the largest egg hunt in Cumming with more than 25,000 eggs.

To accompany the tantalizing food assortments, the Kids Zone included quad bungee, inflatable slides, bounces, a trackless train and tons of trucks and equipment to climb on at the Touch-A-Truck.

Pete Hart entertained children, young and old, with his magical puppet shows.

Richard Brown, brought his family to enjoy the festivities on the warm, sunny day before Easter.

"Where else can you go to have a sampling of some of Forsyth's finest foods than here at the Taste of Forsyth," Brown said. "It's just a great time and you can't go wrong."
