FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. — U.S. Rep. Rob Woodall (R-Ga.) will host his first round of town hall meetings in the newly apportioned 7th congressional district — which consists of parts of Forsyth County and Gwinnett County.
“We have our work cut out for us this Congress. With all of the drama surrounding the so-called fiscal cliff ‘deal’ at the end of the last Congress, Americans are demanding not only answers from Washington, but action,” Woodall said. “I hosted multiple town hall meetings throughout those debates to ensure that those I represent made their voices heard, and to ensure that they were kept informed throughout the entire process.
“Now with the White House working to circumvent Congress on gun control legislation, as well as another looming debt ceiling increase, it’s important that I hear what those I represent have to say on these issues,” Woodall said.
A mailer from Woodall’s office went out announcing the town hall meetings as well as providing constituent services information and office contact numbers.
