January 09, 2013NORTH FULTON, Ga. – The Milton Boy Scout District, comprised of the cities of Roswell, Alpharetta, Johns Creek and Milton, announced its newest Eagle Scouts.
Anthony DeSantis, Harrison Dean, Robert Ashcom and John Hampel passed their Board of Review on Nov. 29.
DeSantis of Troop 430, sponsored by St. David's Episcopal Church, chose as a project the construction of two pergola style benches for the tennis courts at Mills Spring Academy. He also placed landscape timbers and mulch around each pergola bench
Dean of Troop 30000, sponsored by Birmingham United Methodist Church, selected the construction of wooden privacy screens to shield utility areas at Alpharetta Presbyterian Church's Memorial Garden.
Ashcom of Troop 69, sponsored by Alpharetta First United Methodist Church, selected as his project to design and build three, 6-foot picnic tables for the courtyards of Milton High School.
John Hampel of Troop 429, sponsored by Alpharetta Presbyterian Church, built six portable benches for the Fellowship Bible Church.
