December 13, 2012ROSWELL, Ga. – A huge hit every Christmas season, Bulloch Hall will bring "A Christmas Carol" to Roswell again this year.
Once again, visitors will be up close and personal with the actors in this intimate 45-seat setting.
In this holiday favorite, Charles Dickens shows Ebenezer Scrooge as he falls asleep in his dingy, cold quarters on Christmas Eve. The old miser is visited by three ghosts, each revealing to Scrooge his wrongdoings and what will happen if he continues in his evil ways. A traditional holiday classic for the entire family, it is guaranteed to warm the heart.
The former artistic director of Kudzu Playhouse, Wally Hinds, knows a lot about "A Christmas Carol." He has been producing, directing and acting in the show in Roswell since 1991. This year's production will once again feature Brink Miller as Ebenezer Scrooge. An Atlanta stage veteran, Miller knows all about "A Christmas Carol" and Ebenezer Scrooge as well. After all, he's played the part in Roswell every Christmas for 16 straight years.
The usual cast of 40 will be will be smaller this year. The cast has been reduced due to the fact that the show will also travel to schools and other venues during Christmas.
