FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. Students, faculty, staff and the community of West Forsyth High School have come together once again to help those in need.

Together, the West Forsyth community raised about $2,800 for The Giving Tree for Kids, a subsidiary of the Forsyth County YMCA. The money will go to help provide Christmas for teenagers this holiday season.

Spearheaded by the Student Government Association and Counseling Department, the clubs, student body and parents of West Forsyth High raised this money in six days.

This is the second year that West Forsyth has raised funds for The Giving Tree.

Members of Student Government, National Honor Society, BETA Club and Y'Club plan to volunteer at The Giving Tree's warehouse in the coming weeks to further help give back to their community.
