ALPHARETTA, Ga. - Former University of Georgia head football coach Vince Dooley will sign copies of his book and other collegiate memorabilia Friday, Dec. 7 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Alpharetta Kroger on State Highway 9.
Dooley coached the UGA football team for 25 years and led the Bulldogs to more than 200 victories, including a 1980 national championship.
The legendary coach has published more than nine books about life, the south and football, including "How 'Bout Them Dawgs," "Dooley: My 40 Years at Georgia" and "Hairy Dawg's Journey through the Peach State."
Attendees can purchase UGA merchandise as well as copies of Dooley's new book throughout the event.
