December 04, 2012 CUMMING, Ga. — A shop that features work from local artisans is holding a fashion show Dec. 6.
Kim Maley, owner of Market 334 in downtown Cumming, is inviting the community from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. to her shop, 334 Dahlonega Street.
This is their second fashion show.
"Last year, we had a full house, and we expect the crowds to double in size this year," Maley said. "We will be featuring two local clothing designers who are incredible in their craft as well as other designers."
The shop sells work of about 65 local artisans, including jewelry, art, pottery, clothing, women's accessories, candles and soaps.
"We have been embraced by our local community," Maley said, "encouraging the locals to buy local and support their local artisans."
