MILTON, Ga. — Milton residents will get their Christmas a little early this year. On Dec. 1 the city will unveil the first completed park as part of the Christmas in Crabapple events.
The as-yet-unnamed park sits between the Crabapple Crossing Elementary and Northwestern Middle schools. The name will be revealed during the holiday festivities.
"This is going to be a big event for the city and its residents," said Jim Cregge, interim director of Parks and Recreation. "It's a perfect way to celebrate the city's sixth birthday — only this time, our citizens get the present."
The event is part of the annual Christmas in Crabapple, hosted by the Crabapple Community Association. For more about the events, visit www.crabapplecommunityassociation.org.
