MILTON, Ga. — Online registration for the Hopewell Youth Association (HYA) spring 2013 recreational baseball season began Nov. 7 at their website, www.hopewellbaseball.org. The cities of Milton and Alpharetta have agreed to waive out of city fees for participants in their respective programs, which has resulted in a new registration program for HYA.
The registration process is split into three new phases:
A $25 late fee will be charged for any registrations after Dec. 31. Each phase of the registration is open to all ages.
Uniform fittings and player assessments will be held on Saturday, Jan. 26, and practices will begin the week of Feb. 4.
Based on the success and growth of the baseball program, HYA encourages players to register as soon as possible. Interested participants should mark calendars now for these key dates. To register online, go to www.hopewellbaseball.org and choose the "Register Online" table from the menu to the left. There are birthdate age ranges for each league — please check age ranges upon registration.
