November 13, 2012 FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. — Forsyth County Senior Services invited families on Nov. 3 to enjoy the first Pumpkin Palooza, an arts and crafts festival for all ages.
Held at Sexton Hall Enrichment Center, 2115 Chloe Road in Forsyth County, the event featured live music and entertainment, arts and crafts, food and inflatables.
Vendors such as Pampered Chef, Tracy Lynn's arts, Melody's Pretty Things and Folkfrenzy participated in Pumpkin Palooza.
The festival also featured a Chunkin' Pumpkin contest for different age groups and a scavenger hunt.
"It's great for the community," area resident Marcy Schmidt said.
Forsyth County Senior Services holds five major events each year.
The next event will be Breakfast with Santa on Dec. 8 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Sexton Hall Enrichment Center. For information, call 770-781-2178.
