Families in need can sign up for holiday food assistance in Forsyth

CUMMING, Ga. — The Place of Forsyth Thanksgiving Food Box sign up is taking place through Nov. 12.

The holiday food assistance program is available for Forsyth County families in need of food for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Residents in need of help with food should call The Place of Forsyth for an appointment.

Documentation is required for all applicants, and includes proof of all household income for the past 30 days, proof of residency and a photo ID.

Current food stamp approval letter can be used to verify income.

Assistance will be based on need and all hardships will be taken into consideration.

Registration will be completed by appointment.
