CUMMING, Ga. — First Redeemer Church invites the community to its sixth annual Twilight 5K and 1-mile run benefiting Whispering Hope Women's Resource and Pregnancy Center.
In past years, as many as 250 people participated annually in the 5K run, 1 mile fun run and the tot trot.
The course is mainly flat with some rolling hills, tree lined, quiet and well-marked with markers for each mile.
The event takes place at 4 p.m. at First Redeemer Church, 2100 Peachtree Parkway, in Cumming.
